Hi,
This is a very small message to maybe a very small number of people, but I need your help.
I am now in the second round (yay!) for getting some funding to do some much needed maintenance and feature work on LibrePlan.
To be a bit more precise, about a full year of work would be possible (albeit at a very low hourly rate, but I would love to do it nonetheless).
One of the questions I’m being asked is about the size of the community.
With 100K+ downloads on Docker hub there must be a large community, but, besides a small number of email addresses, most of those users are unknown to me.
And why wouldn’t it? The software is stable, and very user friendly. It just works.
But can you please send me an email (jeroen at libreplan dot dev) and let me know what makes LibrePlan unique? Why you think it deserves some maintenance and feature effort and a place in the world of open source applications?
This would help me enormously!
Looking forward to all your responses.
Warm regards,
Jeroen Baten
p.s. Recently I got my first Open Collective donation ($ 5) for the LibrePlan project. This makes me so extremely happy, I can’t tell you where to begin. So, wherever you are, if you are reading this, thank you soooo much!
